FAQs about ST-160

  • 1. What is ST-160?

A superabsorbent polymer (SAP) granule (white/light yellow, 10–60 mesh) for solidifying saline and high-TDS liquids.

  • 2.How much does it absorb?

≥350x its weight in deionized water at 25°C; forms a stable gel. Absorption decreases with salinity but remains effective.

  • 3. Why use it in salty/high-TDS waste?

Excellent salt resistance, stable gel in saline water, and lower required dose vs. conventional SAPs.

  • 4. Typical applications?

Brine/high-TDS waste, sludge stabilization, drilling waste, flowback/produced water, tailings slurry, and chemical/hazardous spill containment.

  • 5. Packaging and storage?

20 kg kraft bags or 800 kg jumbo bags (PE liner). Store dry and sealed. Shelf life: 24 months.

  • 6. Any usage notes?

Dose varies by salinity and waste composition; perform on-site tests. Keep product dry to prevent premature swelling.
